Pawnee Mental Health Awarded Kansas Leadership Center Leadership Transformation Grants

Posted Wednesday April 3, 2024

Pawnee Mental Health has been selected as one of the distinguished 97 organizations to receive the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) Leadership Transformation Grants which support the professional development of leadership teams. The Leadership Transformation Grants will help partner organizations, like Pawnee create a culture that embraces change, tackles problems, and seizes opportunities.

"We are thrilled and honored to be chosen for the Kansas Leadership Center Leadership Transformation Grant," said George Macko, Human Resources Director and Interim Chief Operating Officer at Pawnee Mental Health. "This grant not only acknowledges our commitment to leadership development but also provides the resources needed to amplify our impact on mental health services within the community."

The grant provides the opportunity for participants to learn, practice, and engage with the KLC Framework which starts with the idea that leadership is an activity, not a position, and that anyone can lead, anytime, anywhere.

Pawnee’s Leadership Team, which consists of professionals across all 10 counties, will have the opportunity to attend an all-day training called “When Everyone Leads”. This training aims to instill fundamental leadership principles, laying the groundwork for impactful leadership practices across the region.

“We are excited about the transformative possibilities this opportunity brings for our organization’s leaders and look forward to enhancing our capacity to address the evolving needs of our community," Macko added.
